I'd wager that Miami(FL) is now OUT of contention for a spot in the tourney.

Yeah, Miami's out.

How about Baylor's big win over Kansas! Turtle's coming in to take the crown! Too bad Ole Miss lost.

San Diego State over UNLV should end that debate. SD St should go to the Tournament. UNLV is at the lower end of the bubble now.

West Virginia over Pitt - BAM!

Oklahoma State over Oklahoma - WOW!

I'm making a run for it, and you bastards can't hold me back... NIT HERE I COME.... I've aleady got locks in UWGB, Rhode Island, and Weber St. Now all I need is Temple to lose!

I can't believe I'm still watching the UCONN-Syracuse game. Damn, SIX overtimes so far!!!

It reminds me of the 2000 election - will a winner ever emerge...

Who just beat the #2 and #3 ranked teams in the country on the same day, hasn't lost a game all week, and is now on the top of the charts?

That's right. That's me. Syracuse plays West Virginia Friday night so I have a guaranteed team in the Big East finals, WV or SYR.

New Mexico's loss to Wyoming last night puts them on the outside looking in. Two big games for me in the SEC with Florida taking on Auburn and South Carolina taking on Boaris' Miss. St. Both likely need another win to make it to the dance. If they both lose, I think it's down to 5 teams dancing form me: Washington, Purdue, Dayton, Texas A&M, and probably Michigan....

I'm still alive in 6 conference tourneys:
Big 10 (Mich St)
Pac 10 (Arizona St)
Big East (Syracuse & West Virginia)
C-USA (Tulsa)
MWC (San Diego St)
Patriot (Holy Cross)

Since the only one I expected to win was the Big 10, I'll be thrilled if I win 3 of them, and if I win 4 then I change my earlier prediction of Jut winning this contest to ME winning this contest. I will be unstoppable.

What's your prediction if you don't win any?

"What's your prediction if you don't win any?"

C'est n'est pas possible, mon frere. I think the question now is which one's will be hard to win. I think the PAC 10 is pretty balanced between UCLA, Washington and ASU. Michigan State is dominating the Big 10. Louisville is the favorite now in the Big East but West Virginia is playing some damn good hoops and I think they can take it.

Tulsa ain't beating Memphis, and San Diego State is going to have to work hard to get by BYU tonight and then Utah (likely) tomorrow.

Holy Cross v. American is the game I'm watching tonight. Go Crucifixes (or whatever they are called).

If I don't win any tournaments? I'm out - done.

Who do you think will be #1 seeds in the tourney now? I'm thinking:
Louisville (if they win the Big East)
Memphis (if they win the CUSA)
North Carolina (if they win the ACC)
Michigan State (if they win the Big 10)

Pitt, UCONN, Oklahoma - you all can be two seeds.

If a team reaches the elite 8, they will likely have earned 28 pts each, which includes pts for beating other players.

A team winning the NIT is also worth around 25 pts (estimated 4 games vs another player).

Who has multiple teams likely to go that far?

Babs - Mich St, Zona St, Cuse?, and West Virginia?

Boaris - Oklahoma, Pitt

Jutdog - Wake Forest, Louisville

CEO - Nova, Duke, LSU?

Jaybird - UNC, Kansas, Marquette?

Phunmunki - Xavier? Gonzaga?

Aka - Washington, Purdue?

Gunz - Memphis, Missouri

Expansion: Who's it helpin anyway:

1. Not Boaris, Notaturtle, nor Hippie D, who have only picked up 16 pts each.

2. Middle level help: Akaoni in at 25pts, Gunz at 26 pts, Munki at 27,

3. Upper Level help: CEO and Progress with 32,

4. Top help: Jaybird and Musash with 35 pts.

5. Jutdog and Babs both took advantage of the drop/add option, making their expansion draft worth 3 teams. Babs comes in with 28pts and Jut with 44 pts.

If Holy Cross beats American tonight add 11 to my expanda-points. I got kind of crapped out on the expansion, I went for mid-major / low-majors anticipating conference points and got burned.
