NotaTurtle dished out some damage as well this week - 30 points, 12-5 record, BIG wins for Purdue, UCONN, UTEP, and even Penn State won two games over other players to supply 6 points to the cause.

- Monday: Turtle's hot UCONN faces off with Jutdog's West Virginia. UCONN needs a good show to keep their conference hopes alive.
- Tuesday: Some Guy in Illinois may be wondering if he'll have ANY at large bids to the Big Dance! Louisville might be his best shot - and a win over Georgetown (Jaybird) would help.
- Wednesday: San Diego St (The CEO) needs to beat BYU (Boaris) to prove they are worthy.
- Thursday: Jacksonville (Babs) locks up 6 points IF they can beat Campbell...
- Thursday: Charleston (Akaoni) locks up 6 points IF they can beat Wofford...
- Saturday: Syracuse (Akaoni) vs. Villanova (Phun) = Big East
- Sunday: Richmond (Babs) vs. Xavier (Phun) = A-10

I think Minnesota hosts Purdue on Wed. This is key to their hopes to make it. Back to back wins over top 20 teams is hard to ignore, especially when one is Purdue. Its at Minnesota, and winning on the road is always a challenge.
That laughing dog freaks me out.
Also, without two wins over top 10 teams last week, I really stunk up the joint.
Keep hope alive!
Dog won't be laughing anymore after UCONN proves once again that they the most underachieving team in the country.
Everyone who hates Bob Huggins, raise your hand.
I do like that Mazzula kid though, playing as hard as he does with a bum shoulder.
BAM!!!!!
20 less wins and 20 more losses than Babs, yet a higher score? = good drafting. And you fucking know it, Jut!
selecting teams that produce a bitch record isn't good drafting. Its like commending Marquette for beating Xavier after they lose to DePaul. Common. Iowa corn produces better than that
Selecting teams that create a potential for huge points is good drafting. Selecting teams that play few if any other players' teams gets you no where. My teams at least had the potential to be leading the league, if a few teams had played to half their potential (see UConn, Penn State, and LBS). Your draft pretty much doomed you from the start, excepting an extremely improbable set of circumstances.
So there!
Is this going to get UCONN in the Big DaNCE? It should, but they still have a losing record in the Big East. Still - 3 wins over top 10 teams...
Good time for UNI to get a wake up call, but seriously c'mon guys, I need the points, and you need a seed higher than 9, but not a 5....

Holy shit! I just looked at my matchups for this week and it looks like I could pick up 40+ points for matchups and lock up two conference titles. Big Bucks, no whammies!
Go Pooter!
Two "WTF?!?!" losses, especially Pitt losing to a Harangody-less Notre Dame buy a big margin. What was up with that?
Akaoni's Charleston took a big hit losing to Wofford last night - that might cost them the SOCON. Only chance now is for Charleston to win on Saturday and Wofford to lose to Citadel...
Coastal Carolina though looks to have clinched a share of the Big South for 6 points, nice job Akaoni.
Gonzaga's win last night ensures that NotaTurtle will get 6 points for the WCC, nice job NotaTurtle.
Jacksonville's win over Campbell just locked up the A-Sun for the Dolphins WOO HOO! Nice job, Babblemur.
Quinnipiac won but so did Robert Morris, so Quin remains 1 game out with 1 game to go (on Saturday) for the NEC points.
Murray State LOST - they were undefeated in conference but no longer. NO 3 points for Jaybird. :(
In the Colonial, the tables turned on Tuesday when Northeastern (Jaybird) lost and Old Dom (Gunz) won. Now all Old Dominion needs to do is win on Saturday OR see Northeastern lose on Saturday. A tie goes to Northeastern, who won their only match up.
In the Sun Belt I'm afraid its all over for Western Kentucky (Jaybird). Even if the three teams ahead of them all lose on Saturday, the Hilltoppers lost all meetings with 2 of them, so lights out, take it to the conference tournament now.
Well, based upon the new bracket at espn, I'm back up to 6 teams incl 2 #2 seeds. Marquette movin on in with a 10 spot.
I feel I need some solid performances out of radford and western carolina in conf tourneys - maybe pick up one more slot.
Minnesota still have a chance, but needs all remaining wins and at least 1, maybe 2 in the conf tourney.
Boston C needs to win it all, which won't happen, but they are the type of team that could end up earning more pts in the NIT than they would in the NCAA anyway - losses to Duke by 3 and Florida St by 4,while posting wins over Clemson and Miami(2) and Virginia Tech.
Oh, and very big game at home for Cornell tonight.
And in conclusion, Utah St extends win streak to 13.
"Selecting teams that play few if any other players' teams gets you no where."
My teams suck this year because of two teams absolutely sucking: Minnesota and Boston College. Both play many other teams but haven't produced. Minnesota's team talend improved this year but they just sucked. Boston Col was a gamble, but they had far more returning than a Baylor or Missouri.
Yes yes, thumbs down to Radford, who would have been a decent pick had they performed as predicted by everyone except Coastal Carolina.
It is clear, though, that the only real difference this year is Syracuse - exceeding everyone's genuine thoughts by at least 30 points (you would have picked them before #47 otherwise). Take away those 30 and this league is extremely close.
I still think it is going to be close, especially once conference winners and conference tourney's are stacked into the points, and even more so once the big dance starts up.
Final Four teams pick up like 40 points by getting that far - Elite 8 are worth a pile as well. The winner of this is, in my opinion, is going to be the player who's team wins the national championship. That's the only thing that is going to matter, in my opinion.
So most likely winners:
Jaybird with Kentucky
Boaris with Kansas
Akaoni with Syracuse
Babblemur with Butler (come on! why not??? haters!)
I just can't see Kentucky doing it. Elite 8 loss.
