Jut / Ron, I didn't get my 2 pt bonus for beating a top 10 team for San Diego St's win, shouldn't it be +10 for sending Alford packing?

they're in now, f'n Mich St

who ever would have thought that New Mexico and Steve Alford would enter the top 10. That is great for Iowa fans.

Well big congrats to both Jut and NotaTurtle! Both won FIVE BIG GAMES yesterday, and thus have FIVE BIG GAMES today!

SPecial kudos to Long Beach St justifying by beating Pacific - too bad its only semis. Can they beat Santa Barbara today and make it to the Big Dance...

Potential points on Saturday:

Akaoni: Washington could take the Pac 10 title for +5, the auto bid for +4, +3 for beating Cal, and +5 if they beat Top 10 Ohio St for +17!

Boaris: A Kansas win over top 10 K-State nets +14! An unlikely Houston win over UTEP would be worth 11. +3 for Ohio St over IL is likely. +28 total possible!!!

Babblemur: A Cal win for +12 is sorely needed. Vandy and Richmond could pick up +3 more a piece for total possible of +18.

Jutdog: five games = lot of possible points. KState win is worth 14, West Virginia win would be worth 12, two more games against top 10 teams for 5 each, and utah state could pick up 9 for a grand potential of... +45!

Gunz has four games: UNLV could win their tourney for 11, three other games worth 3 a piece for a potential +20 total

Jaybird: A georgetown win for the big east title is worth +14, Akron could win their tourney for +9, and Kentucky is looking at +3 for a grand potential of +26!

NotaTurtle: Five Alive - Long Beach state could win their tourney for 9, UTEP could win theirs for 11, Miami plays top 10 Duke for 5, Purdue on Minn for 3 and Georgia Tech could get one measly point for a grand potential of... +29!

The CEO: two conferences at stake - Morgan St for 9, San Diego St for 11, +20 possible.

Phunmunki: Just Xavier hanging on for a possible 3 points today.

Some Guy In Illinois: Just Temple hanging on for a possible 3 points today.

Shit watch out for Boaris now. Houston won the CUSA! That will probably keep Memphis and UAB from getting at large bids.

Houston, Siena and St. Mary's have auto bids now for Boaris. Kansas, Ohio St and BYU are all sure things, and Florida is a maybe.

Boaris could be the one to beat going into the Big Dance...

I'm stoked about Marquette and Minnesota. That should expand my squad to 7, of which I like many of them. Not saying I'm the front runner, as Kansas and Kentucky looked very good today. But a slip up by either of these guys opens many doors.
