2010-2011 Draft Order Announced!!!

The 2010-2011 Babblemur BBall Contest Draft Order has been determined!

Watch the video to see the order. Remember, after the first round, the person picking last (#13th) picks first (#14) in the next round. It is the snake method, you know.

The player with the #1 pick this year may go ahead and select their team any time! There is no pressure though to hurry yet but as soon as you know who you want go ahead and post it here in the comments so the next person can pick.

And we're off!

I left these comments on our Facebook page, which is secret, and if you want on that you have to become my Facebook friend or at least message me or something:

It should be an interesting first two rounds of the draft. I think there is an obvious 1-2-3 in Duke, Purdue and MSU, but after that it really opens up. I think there are about 7 teams that could all rotate out at 4-10, making for a "pick your favorite team" opportunity for several.

Another thing - with 13 players, it is less likely that players will have a team in every major conference. The best teams in the big 6 are going to be choice picks, but when does one go "rogue" and take a non-"Major" team? i.e. when will someone finally take Gonzaga? They look pretty fucking good after all. And Butler? Temple?

I'm guessing that the "DUKE" was Musashisan's first pick. Verify Ron.
